NAfME Online Academy - Professional Online Webinars

The Mississippi Music Educator’s Association has joined forces with the National Association for Music Education to provide more services for our membership. NAfME has teamed up with Mississippi College to offer CEU credit for the online NAfME Academy, the online learning platform for music educators. The Academy allows educators to access the relevant professional development they need to further enhance their teaching and serve the needs of students through dynamic and effective materials and learning opportunities.

There is something for everyone regardless your musical field. Areas include:

Band; Strings; Choral; Teaching, Philosophy and Career Development; General Music; Inclusion in the Music Classroom; Beyond the Classroom; and Performing Ensembles. Go to NAfME.org and check out the 86 different webinars that are currently offered.

Upon completion of each online course you will receive a certificate. For every 5 courses (5 contact hours), MC will offer .5 CEU credits.

Print out the Request for Continuing Education Units form from the MSMMEA.org website. Complete the form, include five NAfME certificates of completion, and mail along with $10 check or money order made payable to Mississippi College to:
